
Hailing from St. Louis, Jake Ferree is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and Directing. Jake has been seen in various playhouses throughout the Midwest, and his credits include working for a wide range of companies such as Disney, Shawnee Theater, Spotlight Productions, Bad Apple Entertainment and Victory Productions.
Among his most noteworthy performances are (Chris Keller) All My Sons, (Jeremy/Johnny Cash) Ring of Fire: The Johnny Cash Musical, (Brick Pollitt) Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, (Glenn Cooper) Rumors, (Jack) Boy’s Life, (Peter Pan) Peter Pan, (Baby John) West Side Story, and Tom Sawyer (Big River).
Recently, Jake starred in Coming & Going, the award winning film for best picture in the Fault-Line Film Festival.
As a director, his most notable productions include Psycho Beach Party, Almost Maine and The Baker: the Legend of Bradley Barbatis, which he personally wrote and produced. Jake is a natural performer and was also a founding member of the nationally touring band, The Makeshift Gentlemen.
