Lee Anne Mathews* (Stage Manager) involvement in the theatre reaches from directing, acting and teaching to stage management and producing. She received her BFA in Theatre from the University of Nevada, Reno (her hometown) and has performed in venues from Toronto to Tokyo and from Alaska to Florida.

She came to St. Louis in 2006 to play the “Soap Star” in the highly successful Menopause the Musical at The Playhouse at Westport, which was recently back by popular demand this year.

She has been nominated for a Kevin Kline Award and a Tampa Bay Theatre Award for Outstanding Performance in a Musical, and locally she has worked for the Muny, Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis, New Jewish Theatre, St. Louis Actor’s Studio and more.

Lee Anne has been the Director of Theatre at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End since 2011, and was honored with the Maryville University Teacher of the Year Award in 2014. She is honored to work with groups such as Prison Performing Arts and Show Me Arts Academy, and she is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
