Nicolas Valdez (Music Director) was originally born and raised in Northern California. Nicolas is now a St. Louis based singer, pianist, and music director. As a music director, he has worked for several professional theater companies in St. Louis including New Line Theatre, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and their Imaginary Theatre Company, Metro Theater Company, and Webster Conservatory.
As a pianist, he has accompanied masterclasses for Broadway’s Adam Pascal, Grammy Award-winning Soprano, Christine Brewer, and nationally acclaimed voice pedagogue, Dr. Matt Edwards.
He currently serves on Adjunct Faculty at Webster University as a Collaborative Pianist, Director of Music at Samuel United Church of Christ, and holds positions at both STAGES Performing Arts Academy and Center of Creative Arts (COCA). He proudly holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Direction for Musical Theatre from Webster University.
