Pamela Hunt (Director) was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Director of a Musical for “The Musical of Musicals” which played at the York Theatre then New World Stages. She won a Kevin Klein award for the show at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and was nominated for the St. Louis Theatre Circle award in 2018 as Best Director of a Comedy for “Born Yesterday” at the Rep.
Her theater work in St. Louis and Missouri includes numerous productions for The MUNY, the Repertory of St. Louis and this year’s “Nine to Five” for Arrow Rock Lyceum.
Other regional theaters include Actors Theatre of Louisville, ACT Seattle, Alabama Shakespeare, Asolo Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse, Coconut Grove, Colony Theatre, Florida Studio Theatre, GEVA Theatre, Laguna Playhouse, Milwaukee Rep., Ordway Theatre, Papermill Playhouse, Pioneer Theatre, and The Prince Theatre.
Stock credits include Atlanta TUTS, Pittsburgh, CLO, and the famed Ogunquit, Westport and Cape Playhouses, doing 25 musicals and plays for the latter.
Pam just finished a successful revival of “The Decline and Fall of the Entire World As Seen Through The Eyes of Cole Porter” in NYC, not seen since 1965.
She was co-president of The League of Professional Theatre Woman, a 500 member arts organization that promotes the work of women in all disciplines of the performing arts.
