Sydnie Grosberg Ronga (Director) is thrilled to be working with Max & Louie again! She is a co-founder of the company and directed their critically acclaimed productions of Chancers, The Violet Hour, It Had to Be You and The Lady With All the Answers. Most recently she was in Hannibal at Bluff City Theatre directing The Glass Menagerie. At New Jewish Theatre she directed Driving Miss Daisy & Bad Jews, for which she was nominated for a best director award. Last summer she directed Inherit the Wind for Insight Theatre Company. In NYC she directed premiers of World of Sinatras & Exquisite Potential and Valhalla for the Project Rushmore Theatre Company. As part of their artistic advisory board, she directed many readings for them. Sydnie has adapted and directed most of Gotham Radio Theatre’s productions over the last nine years including their collaborations with Lincoln Center Library. As Associate Artistic Director of The Phoenix Theatre Company, she directed Boy Meets Girl, Alone At The Beach, and The Nerd. Ms. Grosberg Ronga directed Branislav Tomich’s one-man plays; Blue Lanterns which had a highly successful run in New York in the Fall of ’09, and Café God which played in NYC, St. Louis and won a Drama-Logue Award in Los Angeles. She has also worked with Manhattan Class Company and The Women’s Project. As an Arts Educator, Sydnie works with students of all ages, directing shows from elementary school to college and designing theatre curriculum for in-school and after-school programs. An acting teacher and coach, Sydnie was born in St. Louis. She is a graduate of Webster University.
