Jim has a background in the banking industry and worked as a financial markets strategist. He currently serves as General Partner of Oakview Partners, L.P. and manages a portfolio of commercial real estate and investment securities for a group of private investors. Jim has a masters degree in finance from the University of Chicago and undergraduate degrees in economics and mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. To maintain a well-rounded perspective, Jim studied French literature and modern drama, both of which contributed to a lifelong interest in theater. While living in New York, he attended all varieties of Broadway and off Broadway shows. As a theater goer and dog lover who admires Bichons Frises, Jim finds Max and Louie’s artistic, enthusiastic, and professional productions to be an inspiring diversion.
